Applied Accounting (Alumni)
Programme Update: ACCA has now officially discontinued the Oxford Brookes University BSc in Applied Accounting programme. ACCA has since collaborated with the University of London for the BSc in Professional Accountancy as its successor degree pathway.
Over 10+ years, I provided expert mentoring for the ACCA OBU BSc in Applied Accounting — guiding hundreds of students through their Research and Analysis Project (RAP), from topic selection and research methodology through to final submission and grading. I am proud to have maintained a 92%+ first-attempt success rate throughout this time.
While this programme is no longer available to new students, my mentoring expertise and academic coaching experience continues through the University of London BSc in Professional Accountancy — ACCA's current degree collaboration. See the UoL BSc section below for details.

ACCA PER & EPSM
Guidance & Support
The ACCA Practical Experience Requirement (PER) and the Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM) are two of the most critical, and most neglected, parts of the ACCA qualification. Many students clear all their exams but stay stuck for years afterward, unsure how to document their experience or get through the EPSM correctly.
As an FCCA member who has personally completed the PER, the EPSM, and every requirement that comes with them, I offer practical ACCA Practical Experience guidance and ACCA Ethics and Professional Skills Module guidance that removes the guesswork and helps you move confidently toward full ACCA membership.
The PER requires 9 performance objectives in total — 5 Essential Objectives that are mandatory for everyone, plus 4 Technical Objectives chosen from a list of 17 based on your role. EPSM is a compulsory online module, not a traditional exam, made up of 10 units covering ethics, communication, leadership, commercial awareness, and data analytics — usually completed in 15 to 20 hours at your own pace.

BSc & MSc Project Mentoring
The University of London BSc and MSc in Professional Accountancy, delivered in collaboration with ACCA, are globally recognised, academically rigorous qualifications pursued by thousands of students worldwide. A key part of both programmes is the Project module, which many students find to be the most challenging piece, since it demands independent research, structured argumentation, and a level of academic writing that differs from anything in the ACCA exams.
My mentoring is focused specifically on the project module for both the BSc and MSc in Professional Accountancy. This is guidance for the project component only, not for examinations, and is designed to help you approach your research and writing with clarity and confidence.

The ICAEW Membership Pathway Route offers qualified ACCA members (FCCA and ACCA) and other eligible professionals a structured route to full ICAEW ACA membership, without having to sit the full set of ACA exam papers.
As a qualified ACA member of ICAEW (2025) who has personally completed the Membership Pathway Route, I provide first-hand, practical mentoring to help fellow members of professional bodies navigate the pathway with confidence, avoid common pitfalls, and reach ICAEW membership efficiently.
This mentoring is focused specifically on the ICAEW Membership Pathway Route itself, for professionals coming through recognised bodies such as ACCA. It does not cover exam papers or case study preparation.
