Bilal Khan FCCA, ACA
I am a dual professionally qualified Chartered Accountant and a passionate educator, and that combination shapes everything I bring into mentoring. I currently work as a Senior Associate I in Transaction Advisory Services (Deals) at PwC Pakistan, focused on Financial Due Diligence, Valuations, FP&A, and Deal Strategy. This role has taken me across some of the most demanding sectors in the market, including aviation, banking (both conventional and Islamic), energy and utilities, and pharmaceuticals. Working closely with organisations in these industries has sharpened my technical finance skills as well as my ability to read complex situations, solve problems under pressure, and communicate with clarity — all of which now shape the way I mentor others.
My academic journey spans over a decade. It started with O Levels in 2008 and moved through the rigour of ACCA, a BSc (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University, an MSc from the University of Dundee in Scotland, and ACA membership with ICAEW in 2025. I am currently a CFA candidate too, because I believe learning never really stops.
Having personally gone through the OBU BSc, ACCA Practical Experience (PER), the Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM), and the ACA route, I understand the pressure points ACCA and ICAEW students face far better than someone who has only read about them. That lived experience, paired with real corporate exposure, is the foundation Both Learners is built on.

About Both Learners
A mentoring platform born from a belief that true learning is always a two-way journey — where both mentor and student evolve together.
Where It All Began
Both Learners was founded in 2018 because I know how isolating a professional and academic journey can feel without the right guidance, and how much difference a mentor who has actually been through it can make.
As an Academic Mentor, I guide ACCA students through their Practical Experience Requirement and EPSM, and support those on the ICAEW Membership Pathway Route, including preparation for the Examination of Experience (EoE). I also work with students pursuing the BSc or MSc in Professional Accountancy through the ACCA and University of London (UoL) pathway, with a specific focus on mentoring for the project module.
Beyond academics, I work as an NLP certified Life Coach, offering a more holistic side to mentoring that draws on numerology and astrology to better understand personality and guide people through difficult decisions and life transitions. As an Educational Consultant and Career Counsellor, I help students choose the right study path and help professionals map out a career path aligned with where they actually want to go. I also offer resume and CV building, ATS friendly resume writing, and LinkedIn profile optimisation, so your professional story is told properly, on paper and online.

Conversation with Bilal Khan is my YouTube channel, created to help students and professionals navigate their academic and career journeys, while also exploring life coaching, personal development, and overall growth as a person.
After a long break, I have resumed making videos, and this time the channel has a lot more to offer. Alongside the ACCA OBU and PER guidance the channel is known for, it now covers the full range of what I do at Both Learners, including EPSM guidance, ICAEW Membership Pathway mentoring, life coaching, educational and career counselling.
You will also find videos breaking down different finance concepts in a simple, practical way, along with content on other useful topics for students and working professionals alike. A big part of the relaunch is continuing to bring people from different backgrounds and industries onto the channel, sharing real experiences and lessons that are not always taught in classrooms or covered in textbooks.
